π How This Method Works
Chronopsychology uses three classical biorhythm cycles β 23-day physical, 28-day emotional and 33-day intellectual β indexed by the number of days elapsed since a reference epoch. Each birth date falls on a specific day of each cycle, called a marker. The marker is then mapped to a fixed pair of receptive/expressive chakra scores that describe the inward and outward expression of that energy.
The birth date is converted to days-since-epoch and three independent modulo operations produce:
- Physical marker β position in the 23-day cycle, mapped to Solar Plexus/Sacral chakra pair
- Emotional marker β position in the 28-day cycle, mapped to Throat/Heart chakra pair
- Mental marker β position in the 33-day cycle, mapped to Crown/Third Eye chakra pair
Each of the 23 Γ 28 Γ 33 possible cycle days has a pre-defined name and a left/right score pair. Left/right are not simple linear functions of the sine wave; they are the proprietary mapping used by the official Hungarian chronobiological calculator. The six chakra scores are summed to give the Root (total life energy) value.
Like classical biorhythm theory, this model uses 23/28/33-day cycles. However, instead of returning continuous sine values, each cycle day is discretised into a numbered marker with a proprietary left/right chakra score pair, producing the specific character typology used by the Hungarian chronobiological school.
This approach is not part of strictly laboratory-based chronobiological science, but functions as a self-knowledge, holistic model. There is no published biological evidence that the birth date alone exactly determines lifelong physical-emotional-mental energy profiles. This approach should be regarded as a metaphorical, typological aid, not a classical natural science model.
Developed in the 1970s by Prof. Artur Vladimirovich Zsazskov and Dr. Tatjana Szmirnova in the Soviet Union, becoming a complete system by 1981. It combines psychology, philosophy, Eastern medicine, biorhythm theory, and quantum physics concepts, validated through statistical analyses by doctors, psychologists, and healalers. Introduced in Hungary since 1994.
